Frequently asked
Does it need power or a pump?+
No. It is gravity-fed. Hang the filled bag higher than the filter and the water flows down on its own.
Can I drink straight from the filter straw?+
Yes. You can use the filter straw on its own and drink from it directly, or connect it to the bag or a bottle.
What is the filter rated for?+
Please read the instructions and specifications that come with the filter for what it is rated for, and how to use it correctly. Don't use it for water you know to be chemically contaminated.
How do I clean and store the bag?+
Clean it with mild detergent and rinse thoroughly. Make sure it is completely dry, inside and out, before storing, and keep it away from extreme heat or cold, harsh chemicals and sharp objects.
Can I connect it to a bottle?+
Yes. The expansion interface in the kit is there so you can attach it to a bottle.
